Saturday: We Are the Future of Kamianka!

We are the future of tomorrow!
Happy Saturday everyone!
We are the smart kids!
Real life is the game that – literally – everyone is playing.
We started our day from playing games of English children.
This is the time to level up your skills quickly.

As a young player, you’ll have lots of time and energy!
To start having fun and learning, just pick a game  and start playing!
Today is Pancake Day in our camp!
In the UK, pancake races form an important part of the Shrove Tuesday celebrations - an opportunity for large numbers of people, often in fancy dress, to race down streets tossing pancakes.
The object of the race is to get to the finishing line first, carrying a frying pan with a cooked pancake in it and flipping the pancake as you run.
She must toss it three times during the race.
The first girl to complete the course, is the winner.
Each contestant has a frying pan containing a hot pancake.
The children keep alive a local tradition by visiting local households and asking "please a pancake", to be rewarded with oranges or sweets.
Pancakes are traditional in Christian festivals in Belarus and Ukraine (Maslenitsa).
What about noisy activities for kids?
Our children  added to the adventure experience.
Our "woolsack" races.
The story goes that the races originated in the 17th century.
Anyone can register to take part in the race; whether you opt to enter as part of a four-person team or go it alone.
We are real patriots of Ukraine. We keep our traditions!
Liza Putilina is proud of her grandmother!
Today we visited our Historical museum.
We were impresed by works of Maria Fizer.
The knowledge of socio – cultural competence  will help our students to realize themselves on the same level with their peers all over the world.

Traditions in Ukraine are interesting and unique, they are versatile and widespread!
Traditions in Ukraine are closely connected with the everyday, calendar and religious life.

We are pleased to keep them!
We are here for a fashion show!
The Decembrists... are in granite, music, poetry... and in our hearts.
We visited the Decemrist’ Grotto. It was built in the end of XVIIIc.. It is an architectural decoration of Davidov family’s park.

We strongly recommend this activity while you are at the stadium!
You don’t have to be perfect.
It’s all about having fun doing something you enjoy.
A talent show can be a great way to showcase your students, build their confidence, and bring your community together.
We encouraged a variety of talents!
Tired but happy we came back to school.
